Orange food colouring for non-alcoholic drinks - comprising 1-(azo benzene-4-sulphonic acid)-2-naphthol 6:8-disulphonic acid

The opt. gassy drink contains 1-75, pref. 25-50 mg/kg of an orange colourant 1-(azobenzene-4-sulphonic aicd)-2-naphthene-6,8-disulphonic acid. Lipsticks contain 1-10% of the colouring. The cpd. is prepd. by coupling diazotised sulphanilic acid with 2-naphthene-6:8-disulphonic acid.
