Electrodeposition process - by addn. of solid-particle components to zinc-plating baths

Required NaCN and Zn-ion contents of fresh, regenerated, or replenished Zn-plating baths are obtd. by adding an intimate mixture of fine-particle NACN and ZnO, in the ratio 0.3-2.4. For NaCN:ZnO ratios of 0.3-1.8, NaOH in amt. proportional the ZnO content according to a given formula is also added.
