In a modification the resin solids content is 3-10%. Specified resins are P.V.A., P.V.C., natural latex, acrylates, and polystyrene. Accelerators and retarders, e.g. K 2 So 4 , Na citrate and alum; surfactants (sulphonates) and stabilizers (cellulose ethers and clays) can be added as can amine formaldehyde resins, granite, asbestos, cork, iron silicates, SiC, SiO 2 , Al 2 O 3 , NH 4 Cl and reinforcants, e.g. glass fibre and cotton scrim. Colours can be included and the use of two differently coloured compositions gives a two tone effect, and if of different set times, a raised pattern effect.
