The shaping mandrel is in two pars to allow the mounting of a shaping ring of thermoplastic or duroplastic material glass, ceramic, metal, wood plaster, cement or the like, in one piece or in segments. Outer shells define the space through which the injected material passes, to pass round the shaping ring, and form the walls of the moulded body. After cooling the shells are removed to allow the moulded tubing to be removed. without distortion.
