The pressure tube is attached to the fixed portion of the die, and to accommodate a thick die, the anvil on the moveable die portion can be rapidly changed since it is attached by a single bolt. At the same time, the casing insert can be changed to suit the increased distance between the pressure chamber outlet and the parting line of the die. Since the same pressure tube can be used for all machines, there is no need to carry a large stock. Down time for making changes to the programme and for maintenance is thereby reduced.
