Classifier basin for waste water treatment - has overflow troughs for pulp at right angles to flow across basin

Washer and conveyor waste water in sugar beet and potato processing factories is freed from solid particles (sand) in a classifier basin with a pushing mechanism on the bottom. The remaining pulp passes into an overflow with an overflow channel which extends at right angles to the direction of flow across the basin and terminates in an aperture in each basin side wall.
