Building panel has a visible decorative stone surface, e.g., marble, and is composed of =1 thin stone slabs bonded to a support sheet of more elastic material. The support is pref. hard polyurethane foam, or GRP, having stiffening ribs on its rear face. A setting resin is pref. used for the adhesive.
