Ammeline prodn from dicyanodiamide and urea melt - in heated revolving elements to comminute prod on raising rotational speed

Ammeline is prepd. by meltin dicyanodiamide and urea, esp. in equimolar ratios, at 150-400 (150-200) degrees C in a heated slowly revolving drum provided with grinding elements. Reaction occurs and the prod. is comminuted by grinding at a raised rotational speed of the drum. Heating of drum is effected by internally and externally situated burners. During grinding, drum is cooled. Powdery prod. is 93-96% pure.
