Immersion cooking of foodstuffs - with endless belt conveying down then up from inlet to outlet

Appts. comprises a bath of fluid, esp. water, through which the goods are passed. The bath is shaped generally as a tall, straight-sided tank, with the inlet and outlet for the foodstuffs at the top and with a semicircular bottom. An endless belt with drivers receives the foodstuffs at the top inlet, conveys them downwards through the water at one side of the tank, then along the semicircular bottom and up the opposite side of the tank to teh outlet. The tank is pref. slightly inclined from the vertical and away from the outlet.
