Straining vat bottom - with triangular punched passages varying in direction from sector to sector

A mash straining vat for beer breweries has its circular bottom subdivided into 16 sectors. Each sector has gps. of triangular passages, produced by cutting a quarter circle and pressing the peripheral section down in a semicircle. The inclination of the passages (10-40 degrees) alternates from sector to sector from a direction towards the periphery, to a direction towards the centre, i.e. by 180 degrees.
