Double aspartate of magnesium and arginine - for treatment of geriatric asthenia and biliary spasmophilia

Novel title salt of formula:- (where n = 2 or 4) is prepd. by reaction of magnesium aspartate and arginine with water at 70 degrees C. The dihydrate may be obtained by heating the tetrahydrate to 60 degrees C.
