Corrosion of certain metals, esp. Cu-Al alloys by condensation of water vapour at its dew pt., which are enclosed by a temporary protective peelable film, is prevented by introducing into the film, a fatty amine (deriv.). In an example, the compsn. comprises 5 pts. Candelilla wax, 3 pts. microcryst. was IP2, 15 pts. paraffin 54/56, 5 pts. ozocerite, 30 pts. hydrocarbon mixt. distilling at 145-200 degrees C, 3 pts. Wyoming bentonite, 2 pts. K2Cr2O7 and 37 pts. H2O.
