摘要
1337623 Pontoon rafts B WILSON 14 Jan 1971 [17 Jan 1970 12 Aug 1970] 1948/71 Headings B7A and B7S [Also in Divisions E1-E2] Sections of floating wharves, bridges and the like are secured together by a bar fixed to one section and detachably connected to an adjacent section. The bar, which may be of steel or glassfibre-reinforced plastics, is sufficiently elastically flexible to allow controlled resilient flexure between sections. As shown in Fig. 2 a round bar 14 passes through apertured ears 15, 16 on each section. The right-hand end of bar 14 carries a detent pin 21 which is entered through grooves in the ears and is then turned to effect locking. In a modification, a flat bar is nailed to one section and passes into a loop on the other section where it is secured by a pin. An end one of a string of sections may be attached to a vertical pole driven into, e.g., the sea bed by a fastening such as a hoop or ring allowing free vertical movement of the section relative to the pole.
