摘要
The self scan panel contains an insulated base block with parallel slots each containing an electrode strip. A second set of parallel electrode strips is placed at right angles to the slots. Each strip contains a number of holes made by a laser. The points of intersection of the two sets of electrode strips form a matrix of ionised gas cells. The base block is then covered by an intermediate block with holes over the junctions forming cells. This is then covered with a top plate containing a third set of electrodes in complimentary slots parallel to the first set. These are used as anodes. The three sections of the blocks are then hermetically sealed.
