DEVICE FOR PREHEATING AND ARRANGING A NUMBER OF DISHES CONSTITUTING A COMPLETE MEAL ON TRAYS

Cylindrical vessel storing prepared meals thermally isolates constituents and piles plates on a helicoidal ramp which has a core heated at the base and which is insulated from the periphery of the vessel. Inner cylinder walls comprise a static helicoidal cantilever ramp (7) which in conjunction with an inner drive rotatable ramp (6) enables the movement upwards of plates fed through quarter circular holes in the bases. Plates are trapezoidal in plan with a hole at the apex, mid circumferentially grooved to house insulation partitions and outwardly dished: locating reheatable and cold food elements in apex and outer areas respectively. A microwave magnetron (8, 9) pref. heats the lower core from below. Thus respective constituents are served at individually suitable temperatures.
