A device for collecting dust during air-flushed rock drilling comprising a shell intended to be located adjacent the rock surface the shell being open at its forwards end and provided with a drill stem opening at its rear and a discharge opening for connecting the shell to suction source the drill stem opening being lined with a necking the size which is sufficient to leave an annular space around the drill stem an air ejector comprising an annular pressure air injecting slot being arranged to establish a forwardly directed air flow through the said annular space.
