The end 15a is entered into a restraining means which may be a complementary button 20 and is held by the engagement of an abutment 15b. The spring-back forces within the cushion draw the barbed member 15 from the button 10 and the two buttons 10, 20 are tethered by a cord 16 uncoiled from within the button 10. In another embodiment the barbed member 15 is integral with the button 10 and enters a collar which then becomes detached from the button 20 but remains tethered to it by a cord. To obtain a longer length d, the two forms may be combined to give two cords each initially contained within the buttons. A plurality of cords may be used in place of the single cord 16.
