Rotating roller or plate for automatic games like one armed bandits operated by feeding in coins or tokens. At least two of the same symbols are located on the plate immediately following each other in order to facilitate the stopping of the roller or plate at required symbol. By placing two or more of the same symbol behind each other they become more clearly visible during retation and make the stopping problem manageable. Thus the symbols, instead of being in random order e.g. 9, 1, 8, 2, 5, 1, 3, 8, 2, 7, 1, 9, 8, 3, 6, 3, 2, 8, 3, 1, are placed in groups e.g. 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 2, 2, 3, 3, 3, 3, 9, 9, 9, 9, 5, 5.
