The lattice framework subdivides a cube into twenty-seven open cubic compartments. Two or more sets of flexible bodies can be inserted easily into one of the compartments and remain fast in it. The bodies in one set are distinguished from those of another set or sets by uniform identifying markings. The bodies can be balls made of soft rubber, although the can contain foam rubber on the inside. They can also consists of soft plastic with plastic foam on the inside. Each player puts a ball into one of the free compartments with the aim of making one or more straight lines with any three of his balls. Flexible balls are shown as (20) in the figures.
