A rectangular plate (1) of hard plastic or metal has a folded end supporting two adjustable blades and a folded opposite end which is clipped to a table top or is hand held. The upper folded end splits into two similar horizontally spaced rectangular elements (3, 4) which have central horizontal slots (8) emanating from their laterally opposed ends, the blades being fixed by screws (6) passing through these slots, washers (5) and wings nuts (2). The blades are parallelogram shaped and have opposed pairs of bevelled cutting edges (7, 9). The overlapping edges (7) form a V shaped sharpening notch and the other cutting edges (9) act as cutters.
