The holding frame for refuse bags can be collapsed into a compact form and is readily erected. The tubular legs (5) are fastened by their upper tapped ends and countersunk screws (6) to the support ring (1). A conical clamping ring (2) is hinged by bolts (3) on this ring, and the circumference of this clamping ring is in contact with the inside circumference of the support ring (1) for clamping bags between the two rings. On the support ring is hinged a cover plate (4) for closing the open top of the bag. The lower ends of the tubular legs are stabilised by a triangular frame which rests on the bulges on legs and the lower ends of the legs may have castor wheels or closing caps (8).
