A method for the production of hair yarn

A stand of stiff synthetic fibres (pref. horse-hair) is enveloped by a spiral of binding yarn (e.g. of polyamide or polyester) which is pref. fused to the strand, and coated over parts, or all of its length by pref. a latex. - The yarn is strong and economic to produce.
