Pipes of glass fibre-reinforced plastic material for transporting liqs. or gases with an explosive risk have inner and/or outer surfaces with a permanent electrical conductivity. The surfaces are provided with electrically conducting layers by electroless metallisation esp. chemical metallisation. Practically no risk of an explosion.
