摘要
Hot exhaust gas at 800 degrees C from a waste incinerator contg fine and coarse dust particles is first cooled in a cyclone to 250 degrees C by passing over air cooled tubes. Coarse dust falls to the base and from there into a sump tank. The fine dust laden air is then taken to the bottom of a water spray chamber. The water reduces the temp. below dew point and scrubs out most of the dust. The remaining, by now damp, dust particles are settled out in a second chamber. The gas is then extracted by a fan and blown up a stack- there it mixes with the air which was used to cool the incoming gas stream and the mixture is then at a temp. above dew point which protects the stack.
