Production method for bag type container base - involves process for welding plastics material using base sheet and turnover corner flaps

The method is used for production of the crossover base of a bag-type container made from a hose section from weldable plastic material. A base sheet having the width of the completed crossover base is first connected to the base surround covers, with the base sheet projecting with at least one of its end zones beyond the length of the complete crossover base. Next corner flaps of the inner surface intended for the connection with the end zone are turned over outwards and brought close to the end zone and finally the end zone and the corresponding area of the corner flap are welded together forming a folding seam.
