The garage assembly, for use in residential estates or elsewhere, consists of monolithically prefabricated, transportable garage cells, open on the door side, where it is normally difficult to provide adequate ventilation if they are storeyed or sunk in the ground. Each cell has a duct for ventilation, running along the rear upper narrow side of the ceiling, formed out during the prefabrication process, open upwards and towards the side walls of the cell. The ducts on adjacent cells are connected at their end faces by sealing units. Ducts may be divided lengthways into two compartments, one for ventilating and the other for air extraction.
