Molten plastics are introduced from several supply ducts into a combining mould, and forming the material into layers, which are welded together as they leave the mould nozzles. The prefd. appts. consists of a distribution chamber with a longitudinal slot or group of slots through which the material leaves the chamber. A second material introduced through a tubular core inside the chamber, leaves this core through a similar longitudinal slot group, just behind the first, so that the second material becomes sandwiches between two layers of the first.
