A device for journalling the beading regions of a tyre rough comprises axially and radially movable beading seatings with a tyre controlling mould between them, and is intended esp. for radial ply tyres. The radially and axially movable seatings for the beadings are constituted of annular segments, while the axial movement of the two beading seatings relative to each other is produced and synchronised by a threaded shaft, esp. a shaft housed in an outer tube with the supports for the beadings passing through slots in the tube. Pref., the whole assembly of the annular beading supports is mounted on a main hollow shaft.
