Ramming piles into shallow seawater areas - using mobile supports laid on heads of already rammed piles

Mobile supports are laid on the post heads of already rammed piles which project beyond the front field formed between subsequent piles and on which the ram can be moved in and against the direction of advancing. After producing a new section, the last pair of supports is moved forwards and set to the most forward position. Several pairs of like supports are used with more than once, but less than twice the section length. From section to section the track of one pair with respect to the track of the previous pair is laterally displaced but the track position returns after every second field. Further the displaced pair overlaps the previous pair.
