Motor vehicle drawn skip with lifting and tipping mechanism - automatically operated by single ram with adjustable tipping height

The skip is supported on the chassis of the trolley by two sets of scissors type levers. The levers are pivoted on the chassis with one of their bottom ends, while the other bottom end has a rachet fitting. The upper ends of the levers have one end pivoted on the skip and the other end fitted with a roller which runs in an open jaw. The ram lifts the skip bodily while the roller is still in the open jaw, and tips it when the roller has cleared the jaw. The depth of the jaw, and hence the height at which the skip tips, is adjustable by a spindle drive. The whole system then operates automatically.
