Inverter for capacitor contg. inductive load - has switching thyristors bridged by diodes for selective voltage supply to inductive load and capacitor for charge reversal
Inverter for capacitor contg. inductive load - has switching thyristors bridged by diodes for selective voltage supply to inductive load and capacitor for charge reversal
The inverter for e.g. linear motors has the positive d.c. input coupled to a first thyristor anode and a first diode cathode. The primary winding of a transformer is coupled across the thyristor cathode and the diode anode. The negative d.c. input is similarly connected over a second thyristor and diode to a second transformer primary. The first transformer secondary controls the second thyristor ignition and the second transformer secondary controls the first thyristor ignition. The series combination of load and capacitor is coupled across the second thyristor, i.e. with capacitor connected to the cathode and to the negative input and with the load connected to the anode and to the first thyristor cathode.
