The metal parts are immersed in a bath of molten metal removed and centrifuged uniformly and rapidly heated above the m. pt of the solder, and quenched. The heating rate after centrifuging is pref. 1-20 degrees C/sec. Process allows the solder coating to dissolve impurities contained in the molten bath so that a bright solder coating is obtd, permitting molten metal baths to be used, even when they contain a high level of impurities.
