Each bracket consists of a straight middle piece welded to the top bar, and diagonal sides extending outwards from the middle piece. The ends of the diagonal sides bend outwards underneath the lower bars to which they are welded. The space between the lower bar, the bottom of the diagonal sides and the bent-out ends, serves to take one or more additional bars also welded to them. Pref. a tie rod running parallel to the upper and lower bars and spaced between them at the same distance from each one, is welded to the diagonal member.
