A domestic water purificn. appts comprises an assembly of a typical bacterial filter and a CO2 mixing connection (11, 12) joined to a water inlet and =1 water outlet by rigid self-supporting pipes with fittings secured by clips to a board, with the bacterial filter and the CO2 injector, one behind the other. A dechlorinating filter may also be added either in place of or additionally to the bacterial filter. Fresh, sparkling and pleasantly tasting germ-free drinking water can be obtd. at very little cost.
