Hydraulic steering limiter for servo steering systems, especially for motor vehicles, consisting of a servo pump, a control valve, a servo motor, and two servo-piston operated switch off valves, which are connected to the spring side of a spring-loaded pressure balance, bridged by a control choke, while the other side of the pressure balance is connected to the hydraulic line from the servo pump to the control valve. The piston of the pressure balance is in the form of a stepped piston and the piston section away from the spring has a greater cross-sectional surface that the piston section facing the spring.
