Multiple cutter boring bar - cutters adjusted radially by rear screw and clamped by second screw

Several disc shaped boring bar holders are mounted on a mandrel. The holders are kept at the correct relative distance by spacer rings so that a multiple boring operation can be carried out in one setting. The holders consist of discs in which several cutters are mounted equally spaced along the circumference. The radial positions of the cutters are adjusted by screws which bear against the sloping rear face of the cutters. The cutters are clamped in position by a second set of screws which bear against the sides of the cutters.
