The oscillator frequency is controlled by the test voltage value and polarity in the same or opposite sense, with the test voltage applied through a switch to the oscillator inverting or non-inverting input; the frequency divider delivering short output pulses, and the reversible counter are connected to the oscillator output, and their outputs are connected to a display store pref. complemented by a plug-minus display unit at the counter output; the frequency multiplier, pref. doubler, delivers short pulses and is connected by its input to the divider output, and by its output to the inputs of the counter and the switch excitation circuit.
