Water-to-cement ratio detector for fresh concrete - uses centrifugal ejection process with addition of rinsing water

The mixture consisting of water and cement is ejected from a sample of fresh concrete mortar by means of a centrifuge. During the centrifugal process, a specific quantity of rinsing water is added to the fresh concrete mortar. The additional quantity of rinsing water is then deducted from the ejected mixture of water and cement. Using fractionated centrifugal process, the mixture of water and cement is decomposed into its parts of water and cement. During the preparation of concrete mortar, reliable information on the strength of the concrete is obtained quickly and relatively simply. Any defects in the concrete are immediately detected.
