Height-adjustable suspension attachment for furniture units - requires only one screw position on furniture simplifying the adjustment procedure

The suspension means for the furniture units, e.g. kitchen cupboards, comprises a fish plate or cover plate which has a thread for a height-adjustment screw which is supported on the upper wall of the furniture. The fish plate is mounted to swivel at its rear end, whilst the front end which passes through the back of the furniture has a hook or the like which fits into a counter member on the wall. The fish plate is pref. angled with one arm supporting the height adjustment screw and lying opposite the upper wall of the furniture and the other arm being pivotably mounted on the side wall of the furniture. In order that the furniture unit may be lowered the second arm pref. has an elongated opening at the rear end through which the fastening screw is screwed into the side wall of the furniture.
