Arm support for microsurgery - has radial carrier parts movable and fixable on slide ring

For a support for human arms, for execution of precise small movements during microsurgical operations, slides are fitted on a path of motion which can be fixed w.r.t. an object to be manipulated. The slide has carrier parts projecting toward the working field, to support the arms. Preferably the path is a slide ring. Each carrier part of the slide is directed radially toward the centre of the ring. The slide is displaceable about the centre of the ring, and can be arrested, with interposition of rollers. Support struts are on the slide or its carrier parts.
