Blood settling velocity measuring equipment - permits diagnostic comparison of settling data by timed movement in graduated scale

The equipment is designed for simultaneous determination of the time required to achieve given settling values and the settling values obtained after given time intervals. Pref. the settling operating is also recorded against time. The equipment pref. comprises a clock started on insertion of a settling tube into the equipment, a scale graduated in m.m. and placed behind the tube, and an alarm mechanism. Pref. a light barrier moves along the tube and a counter records the distance moved from a zero mark to the boundary between transparent plasma and non-transparent blood cake.
