Collapsible temporary staircase platform - with steps on swivelling mountings on stringers, and risers movable two ways

This is for provision of 1-2 1/2 m wide folding platform and flight of stairs which is much easier to use than several staircases assembled side by side, where the intervening stringers would be an obstacle; it is easily folded, or can be joined to others to provide longer uninterrupted flights of stairs. The side stringers cover only the bottom edges of the risers and the rear edges of the steps, which are set so as to be able to swivel on them. The risers can swivel on the steps, but are mounted for both swivelling and displacement on the risers, pref. coupled so as to carry out parallel movements. They pref. have attachments on their bottom edges engaging under corresponding attachments below the steps, in the erected position. A banister rail can be hung in position where desired, hooked in steps and stringers and secured by a shackle.
