The tipping vehicle has pref. two or more axles with the tipping hydraulic cylinder fitted approximately centrally in the frame, the cylinder being supported in a plane beneath the vehicle frame on a fixing plate, to which four diagonal tension struts are attached whose other ends are fastened to axle mounting blocks in the region of the higher side bearers of the vehicle frame. The fixing plate lies in a higher plane than that passing through the vehicle axles, and the hydraulic cylinder is mounted on it by means of a ball joint at its lower end.
