Three colour photography - with simultaneous prodn of separate colour separation exposures on same film

Colour movie and television films are produced. A black and white three-negative film is used as the exposure film, with the three parts sensitised for red, green and blue. Preferably the three parts are exposed simultaneously using half- and normal-mirrors through a single objective. The image fields in the film are kept small, and are first enlarged onto an intermediate film, from which the copies proper are made. Colour filters are used in the projector to give the correct colour synthesis.
