Windscreen wiper blade assembly - with transverse bolt for mounting adjacent to wiper arm

The wiper blade assembly is mounted beside the wiper arm to reduce the height of the wipers on the windscreen and lessen win resistance. The mounting bolt for the wiper blade is set across the blade assembly with one end of the bolt rigidly secured in the blade assembly. The other end of the bolt is fitted with a groove which locates one edge of the wiper arm holder. This is designed to take conventional wiper arms and has a securing spring whose free end is narrowed to fit into a locating groove on the bolt. The far end of the spring has a tab so that the coupling is easily loosened to refit the blade.
