Equipment for measuring speed of ventilating air - in underground roadways separates and measures part of roadway air

The equipment for measuring speed of ventilating air in underground roadways in mines by which short and local changes in speed profile of the moving ventilating air in the roadway are levelled and the speed measuring sensitive equipment protected from damage. The device includes an indicator of differential pressur separating part of the ventilating air from the main stram of air in the roadway. The separated air is measured by a device which is showing directly is speed. Two tubular bodies have perforations in one and two longitudinal rows respectively and they form, by their spacing, downstream element. A presure damper with two spaced baffle discs completes the assembly.
