The system to apply a dry cleaning process to garments, using a perforated drum for the clothing to be immersed in a cleaning solvent followed by spin drying and airstream drying, has a heat exchanger in the circuit to use the heat of the condensation phase for recovery of the cleaning fluid to heat the air passed into the chamber to dry the cleaned clothing. The use of heat from the condensation phase for heating the airstream exploits the total energy of the system, the avoidance of energy waste leading to a more economical and effective cleaning process.
