A three stage control system for a grain drying plant consists of an exhaust gas temperature probe delivering its result to potentiometer and comparing its value to a predetermined requisite value. If an imbalance occurs burner control activates burner proportionally and the rate of addition of damp grain is governed by control regulating feed conveyor and feed wheel. A third control circuit measures the moisture content of the dried grain and by comparison with predetermined values adjusts the air/heated air balanced flow by an additional control.
