The shirts are mass-produced in the usual way but are not provided with cuffs, which are separately mfd. The length of the remaining sleeve-parts is made such that they can be supplemented to sleeves of largest length normally required, by sewing on the cuffs. This enables the retailer to adjust the length of the sleeve, including cuff, to suit the customer, by sewing on the cuff at the appropriate point.
