Roller cutting tool for tunnel driving or shaft sinking equipment includes individual roller cutters arranged side by side in the axial direction and independently rotating of each other on a common shaft. The roller cutters positioned radially on the common shaft are mounted on rollers and are held in an axial direction by axial ball bearings located between adjoining roller cutters. The outer roller cutter is secured in position by a radial flange rigidly attached to the end of the common shaft. Each roller cutter is provided on its side faces with circular recesses for locating the axial ball bearings and with a seat for a seal ring and with a labyrinth seal for preventing incress of dirt in the bearings.
